As a retired U.S. Army veteran who also suffers from severe PTSD, I am truly inspired by your SDVOSB’s construction excellence and your veteran-led mission that reflects the valor we all share. Over 50 years of billions spent have barely dented the veterans’ crisis—32,882 still homeless, PTSD claiming 20–44 lives daily to suicide, and 75% of transitioning veterans unemployed. Living with PTSD’s grip myself, I beg you from my heart: join our Serenity Stronghold Action Plan to end this torment and rebuild lives for our heroes.

Our plan deploys 50 veterans centers across America, kicking off with pilots in areas like Pittsburgh and New York. With themes of wellness (Serenity Stronghold, Vitality Vault, Resilience Refuge), job training (Forge Forward, Vets’ Vocation Hub, Pathfinder Place), and family support (Kinship Keep, Legacy Link, Hearthstone Haven), the centers feature low-cost innovations like model train railroading—$200 per veteran for 50–80% PTSD relief via mindfulness and camaraderie (proven by 2024 Hornby survey and UK studies). Bolstered by therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Virtual Reality Exposure, and animal-assisted healing with strays, we’ll tackle mental health, physical wellness, and addiction. Building 10,000 housing units with VA facility reuse for speed, we’ll also extend to first responders—police, firefighters, EMTs with 17–24% PTSD and 143 suicides in 2024—to combat shared traumas through integrated care.

Mr. Zickefoose, I implore you—envision the veterans enduring nights on the streets, families fractured by unseen wounds, futures we can restore with your help. Your VA project mastery makes you indispensable; please, stand with us. Use the VA’s Veterans First Contracting Program to construct our Pittsburgh (Legacy Link) and New York (Vitality Vault) centers, housing 50% of veterans in six months.
